2004 Viognier |
Lively, bright gold colour with a touch of tropical fruit over honeysuckle
varietal character. Rich, war, round, fruity and finishes dry with
just a touch of cleaning acidity. The flowing nature and great balance of
all the component elements, make this wine a joy and reward. After
fermentation the wine is left on its fine lees with weekly stirring to
ensure the development of viscosity to increase mouthfeel of the wine. |

2004 Hanenhof Semillon |
The extra richness is very apparent on both bouquet and palate. The
outstanding fruit character is very rewarding and softens the end palate
in balance with the acidity. The colour is deceptively pale green
gold and will fill our with time. |

2003 Shiraz Prestige |
A rich black colour dominates this wine, balanced by an exceptionally
complex nose of blackberries and vanillan beans. This rich aroma
marries into the palate during the maturation in French and American oak,
creating a balance between the fresh fruit flavours and long, velvety
tannins from the carefully selected oak barriques. This wine will continue to improve over the next 5-10 years under good cellaring conditions. It will certainly reward those who are patient, but this classic style will also be enjoyed by those who cannot resist the immediate temptation. We recommend that it be decanted 3 - 4 hours before serving the fully appreciate this wine. 93-95 points - Robert Parker - 2004 |

2002 Merlot Prestige |
A rich wine with considerable chocolate, plums, currants and spicy oak on
the bouquet. The palate has strong upfront fruit with a long and
soft finish with gentle abundant tannins. A great food wine indeed.
While released with quite some readiness, there is no doubt that the Merlot Prestige will develop further with more bottle age. Expect it to show extremely wll at around 8 - 10 years of age. 90-92 points - Robert Parker 2004 |

2001 Merlot |
Aged in 100% French wood (one-third new) with 10% Cabernet Franc added to
the blend, this dense purple coloured Merlot is loaded. A serious
nose of mocha, espresso roast, black berry liqueur, plums and figs soar
from this full-bodied, ripe, layered, rich, chewy 2001. It is a
sensational Merlot capable of lasting 10-12 years. 93 points - Robert
Parker 2003 |

2002 Wilhelmus |
The Wilhelmus offers style, character and elegance, yet has power,
richness an length to reward. The flavour is deep, showing great
bramble flavour, raspberry and cassis with abundant, tight but soft
tannins. The layer upon layer of complexity is exciting,, adding character and interest of high order. These characters will continue to develop over the next 3-5 years. We recommend that it be decanted 3 - 4 hours before serving the fully appreciate this wine. 91-94 points - Robert Parker - 2004 |
