2002 Blacksmith Cabernet Sauvignon Our cabernet sauvignon the unsung hero of Barossa wine, has been matured in new (20%) and seasoned in (80%) French Oak for two years, achieving the structure, depth and balance expected from this premium Australian grape growing region. 

Very deep red/crimson colour.Ripe blackcurrant and mulberry fruits mingled with lifted with hints of spicy notes and hints of cedary French oak.

Full and firm on the palette, displaying all the fruit characters passed from the aroma.  A big fruit driven wine balanced with fine drying tannins resulting in a long flavoursome finish.

 

2004 Three Gardens Shiraz Grenache Mourvedre

This delicious wine draws its name from the old Barossa Vignerons word for vineyard. Three Gardens were chosen for their distinct Barossa style and complementary characteristics. The blend of Shiraz (47%), Grenache (45%), and Mourvèdre (8%)shows good balance and intergrated structure. It has full, ripe fruit, supported by firm but fine tannins. The overall flavours are cherries and blackberries, with hints of cloves and cinnamon. Enjoy over the next five years or so.

 

2003 Valley Floor Shiraz

This wine is a classic example of honest traditional Barossa Shiraz. Ripe, rich plummy and dark cherry fruit with earthy tones and hints of spice, it displays fine toasty oak tannins resulting in a medium to full-bodied wine with an exquisite soft dry finish
