2002 Basket Pressed Shiraz |
The 2002 Basket Pressed Shiraz, from 40 year old vines and aged in neutral
American wood for 12 months, elicits amore than a few "wows". This
full-bodied, full-throttles, classic Barossa is a magnificently
concentrated as well as multi-dimensional, and loaded. It can be
drunk now, but promises to age for 10-15 years. This vintage, this shiraz isn't filtered. It's elegant, and not un unruly blockbuster as many other '02's are, with juicy black fruit and a little buttercream for good measure. It's chalky tannins are lovely. > 95 Points - Robert Parker Aug 2004 |

| 2001 Basket Pressed Shiraz |
The 2001 vintage provided some of the best quality shiraz we've seen in
years - purple/black colours that stain the teeth, complex aromas of spicy
chocolate and dark plums with a palate that's dense and chewy. The
vintage allowed generous wood treatment which has integrated nicely with
the sweet fruit tannins, adding to long and lingering finish. > 93 Points - Robert Parker Aug 2003 |

2003 "The Ball Buster" |
The Ball Buster, a blend of 60% shiraz, and equal parts of Cabernet
Sauvignon and Merlot, all aged in neutral American and French oak barrels
for 12 months, is an exuberant , sexy, delicious red. Sweet
blackberry and currant, liquorice, smoke and bacon-like flavours are
top-class, a gorgeous texture, tremendous purity, and a long, heady finish
are found in this amazing wine. > 91 points - Robert Parker Aug 2004 |

| Liquid Gold Fronti (Frontignac) |
The Liquid Front has wonderful fruit characters of apricot and passion
fruit and as a white port, the perfect dinner partner accompaniment.
The foundation of the fronti is from the 1999 vintage with consecutive
years blended with it. |

2000 Basket Pressed Cabernet Sauvignon |
The dense ruby/purple coloured, highly perfumed 2000 Cabernet Sauvignon
could be called kinky as well as exotic. Aromas of incense,
blueberries, black currants, and earth are followed by a richly fruity,
medium to full bodied, distinctive Cabernet. Soft and user friendly,
it is best consumed over the next 5-8 years. > 88 points - Robert Parker Oct 2002 |
