Uleybury is a family owned and operated boutique winery that produces only premium quality wines that have distinguishing varietal characteristics and flavours that are inviting to the palate. Uleybury lies North - East of Adelaide, South Australia, within the Mount Lofty Ranges . It is a picturesque area and to add to it's poetic beauty it also fast becoming a new wine growing area. It was here where Tony Pipicella and family first planted vines in 1995. Then in July 2000 Uleybury Wines released their 1999 Hand Picked Uley Chapel Shiraz, 1999 Hand Picked Grenache Shiraz and 2000 Hand Picked Semillon. The reponse and success of the first three labels and now their continued vintage releases, along with several other new releases has proved that Uleybury "has the elements necessary to produce quality wine", Winestate Magazine Nov/Dec 2000 (Read Review) How has such a young winery gained such a good reputation so quickly? BALANCE - Harmony among the wines' components. At Uleybury Wines they believe this balance begins in the vineyard.
