Market visits: Travelling to our export agents every year, is certainly an important part of our business. We get to host formal and informal tastings, update each other on market conditions, opportunities and problems. Right now we are briefing agents on Two Buck chuck opportunities from Australia, as well as Premium wine labels that can be marked down, and offered at better price points.

Winemaker visits: Our facilitation of travel programs to our markets by winemakers, is a key role in our Marketing activity. With Vinexpo Chicago almost here, we have both Langmeil winery, and Pirramimma winemakers making marketing trips to Canada. Langmeil are involved in the Young winemaker marketing program of the LCBO, and they will be conducting a major tasting, and market visits, in conjunction with our agents in Toronto, and Pirramimma will be hosting Dinners and tastings in Whistler BC Alberta and Vancouver.

Sponsored events: Elderton are hosting two dinners in Malaysia, on their return next month from London. Our role is to support the market with both wine maker visits, and Agents visits. In all activities we need to balance the effort and cost involved, with the return on additional sales. In most cases, we organise travel with international events, so that trips are partly covered by other events, and only the cost in time is a major factor.

Trade & Wine Shows: We consider applications by our agents to assist them in participating in local and international trade shows for effective  participation.

Sponsored Buyers Visits Malesco supports our agents by sponsoring importer visits by our major importers to key events like Wine Australia, and independent agents visits.
